Pay Respect

From the Regt Sec:

A very great friend of mine of over 40 years, Ken Gregory, died at his home in Spain on 2/12. He served with the Glider Pilot Regt in WW2 and was not commissioned. He was a great entrepreneur, formed and sold Air Gregory flying out of Denham, was a publisher, property developer and keen shot and fisherman. He was Stirling Moss’s racing manager until Stirling’s crash which put him out of motor sport. Ken was a distinguished member of BRDC (British Racing Drivers Club).

There will be a memorial service around Eastertime probably at St Colomba’s Church, Pont Street. I am in touch with Ken’s brother and son and have suggested that in some way or by someone, his time in the British Army should be remembered. I will be attending (I live most of the time in Cambridge MASS).They would be very pleased about that.
