Col Simon Fogden

 

It is with great sadness that I inform the wider Army Aviation family of the recent death of Col Simon Fogden

who died suddenly on the 2nd February 2015.

Col Simon Fogden led a distinguished military career with the Army Air Corps spanning from July 1967 to May 1998.

As well as many E2 posts in various locations he also served at Middle Wallop in 1974 with 656 Sqn 11 Flight AAC.

He later joined 652 Sqn 2 Regiment AAC in Bunde Germany in 1982 and served as CO 3 Regiment AAC from 1990 to 1992.

There will be a Celebration of Col Fogden’s life taking place at 2 pm, Friday 13th February 2015 at the Tom Stoppard Theatre, Pocklington School,

West Green, Pocklington, Yorkshire, YO42 2NJ. All friends and colleagues are welcome to attend.

 

(A private family service will take place that morning).

 

No flowers thank you but should anyone wish to make donations please send them to the Army Benevolent Fund or the Woodland Trust.

 

Are thoughts are with his wife Lyn, and family Emma, Tom and Polly.
