Mark Peregrine Elliott Legg DFC

It is with great sadness that I inform the wider Army Aviation family of the recent death of Mark Peregrine Elliot Legg, DFC, a Royal Artillery Officer, aged 89, who died on the 2nd August 2015, peacefully at Dumfries Royal Infirmary. He served as an Army Pilot in 1956 with 656 Light Aircraft Squadron in Malaya, later returning to the Royal Artillery in 1961.

He was the much loved husband of Annie and father of Angus, Katrina (deceased) and Jamie, and grandfather to grandchildren and great grandchildren. The Funeral arrangements will be private but donations may be made to ABF The Soldiers Charity c/o Mountbarrow House, 6-20 Elizabeth Street, London, SW1W 9RB.
