Pay Respect

It is with sadness that we report information received from a veteran telling us that Major (Retd) John Peter Calder Tarran had passed away aged 88 on 27 Feb 17.

He was born John Arthur Taffs on 9 Nov 29 but changed his name in 1959. John had commissioned into the Royal Berkshire Regiment. His subsequent tours included 651 Sqn, a period as an instructor at the Army Air Corps Centre, time on the Staff and then command on 4 Flt AAC before he retired in 1967.
