Fredrick 'Fred' Wileman

I was writing about a REME technician whose daughter I met in hospital and she was telling me that, as a child, she had spent much time at Middle Wallop where her father was a technician. On further discussion, her father was an ex-RN aircraft technician who then joined REME and served at home and extensively abroad with the AAC. He was Frederic (Fred) Wileman and he left the army after 24 years service, in 1976. He had a later career, also as a technician, and subsequently died in 2002.
